Overview
Seminars are hosted Saturday under the tent and informal
discussions are held on the porch of the
marina office. There will be two seminars held under the tent.
This year we will run one discussion at a time, allowing for more
questions and in-depth discussions.

Matt Beck of North Sails of Annapolis, will present "Cruising Sails: A
tutorial." Topics covering sail trim, sail shape,
rigging and cruising sail inventories will be presented. |

Tom Tursi Director of the Maryland School, IP owner with
35,000 miles of ocean passages will present "Weather Analysis for the Small Boat Sailor"
Tom's topics will include:
 | Various sources of weather data including Internet, VHF, SSB, Fax,
Satellite and personal observation |
 | Methods for analysis and integration with navigation and route planning and storm avoidance. |

Bill Bolin director of marketing and sales for Island Packet
Yachts will present a slide show and discussion of the Island Packet
Yacht and the manufacturing processes. Bill is a dynamic and
entertaining speaker who can answer any question you may have about
your yacht. We are excited to have Bill as our featured speaker
this year, rendezvous 2000! Thank you Bill Bolin! |
